Prior to being electroplated, most products require some type of preparatory grinding, burnishing or polishing depending on the state of the material and the desired quality of the finish. Spectrum has a dedicated Mechanical Polishing service area with a variety of machinery and processes to burnish, grind and polish all of your unique products.
All of Spectrum’s electroplating finishes offer great wear and corrosion resistance, however, to increase the durability of our electroplating finishes, Spectrum offers a range of post plating services. Clear powder coat, translucent color powder coat and bake enamel can be added as an additional finish to our Gold Plating, Silver Plating, Nickel Plating, Black Nickel Plating, Copper Plating, Brass Plating or Electroless Nickel Plating finishes.
